A Hollywood movie shoot has taken over another Toronto street this week.
Movie crews are in town filming "Suicide Squad," a multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster, which stars Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie.
Yonge Street has been closed between College and King Streets from Monday night at 7 p.m. to Thursday at 6 a.m.
The movie shoot also took over the intersection of Bay Street and Wellington Street this weekend, catching the eyes of those passing as crews staged a helicopter crash scene.
With the low Canadian dollar, Toronto has become a popular location for U.S. production companies to shoot movies because it is cheaper to produce films.
In 2014, $1.3 billion dollars was spent on location filming in Toronto, up 4.3 per cent from 2013.
Currently, there are 30 different productions being shot in Toronto including “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” and “Special Correspondents”.
