Toronto police are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into a light standard in North York overnight .
The driver fled the scene on foot, leaving three passengers in the vehicle.
One of those passengers was injured and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say they believe the driver may have been speeding before the car crashed into a pole on Leslie Street, north of Finch Avenue at around 3 a.m. Thursday.
The staff sergeant at Toronto Police 33 Division told CP24 they are speaking to a witness at the scene as well as the passengers to try and determine how the crash happened.
