Peel police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for allegedly assaulting another man outside a Mississauga bar last month.

It happened outside an establishment in the Royal Windsor Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard area at around 2 a.m. on Sept. 18.

According to police, the victim was approached from behind and struck in the face multiple times by a man who then fled in a white-coloured car.

The victim required medical attention, police said.

Police released a security camera photograph of a suspect Friday night.

He is described as white, with a medium build, side-parted brown hair, and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black pants.
