Police say a 25-year-old Brampton man has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting in the city’s Emery neighbourhood on Friday evening.
The shooting happened behind an apartment building on Weston Road, near Imogene Avenue, at around 6:30 p.m.
Police said the victim was located in the area suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the shooting is believed to have been targeted.
The man, who investigators have identified as 25-year-old Christopher McLean, reportedly lived in the building he was found shot behind.
Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the incident who fled the area following the incident in a black sedan.
No further descriptions of the suspects were provided.
