WHITBY, Ont. -- Police have made an arrest after a woman's body was discovered at a home in Whitby, Ont.
Durham Region Police say a Whitby man turned up at a police station Saturday morning and told officers something happened to his girlfriend.
Police say they found the body of a 25-year-old woman in a local residence and there were "obvious signs of trauma."
A police news release makes no mention of charges against the man, only saying he is in custody.
Police say there are no other suspects in the investigation.
