A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Mississauga Sunday night.

Peel police said they were called to the area of Creditview and Bristol roads just before 5:30 p.m. for a collision.

A pedestrian was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment and is currently in life-threatening but stable condition.

Initial reports indicated that the driver involved left the scene but police confirmed Monday that they later returned.

“Our Major Collision Bureau is investigating the collision,” police said in an email to CP24. “Anyone with any information is asked to contact investigators.”
