Part of subway closed on Line 2 for track work on Sunday: TTC

Subway service is suspended between Broadview and Main Street stations on Line 2 due to scheduled track work.

There will be shuttle buses for passengers who take Line 2 that will only stop at subway stations along the route.

Customers who want to request Wheel-Trans services between St. George and Main Street stations should speak to TTC staff.

Earlier on Sunday, a portion of Line 2 between St. George and Broadviews stations opened later than usual -- around 10 a.m. -- because TTC crews were replacing beams on the Prince Edward Viaduct.

Regular Line 2 service will resume on Monday at 6 a.m., according to the TTC.

There are several more subway closures planned for August:

• August 6: Line 1 Yonge-University - St George to Union
• August 13-14: Line 2 Bloor-Danforth - Pape to St George
• August 27-28: Line 1 Yonge-University - Lawrence to Bloor-Yonge
