MIDLAND, Ont. - Provincial police say complaints of speeding have led to several charges against a 31-year-old Tay Township, Ont., man.

Police say a car blew by a cruiser, sent to Old Fort Road in Tay Township in response to the complaints, and didn't stop when directed.

The officer clocked the vehicle at 153 kilometres an hour in the 80 km/h zone on Wednesday afternoon.

Oliver Zecha is charged with racing, speeding and driving under suspension.

A passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Raymond Cloutier of Tay Township, is charged with a liquor offence.
