COOKSTOWN, Ont. - Police say no one was injured when a military truck rolled, closing Highway 400 southbound north of Highway 89 for about three hours.

Officers say the military vehicle was hauling a trailer with another truck on it southbound on Highway 400 around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators say the truck went out of control and rolled onto its side blocking all southbound lanes.

A fuel tank on the truck ruptured in the collision and some diesel fuel spilled.

The southbound Highway 400 was closed as the truck was removed and the fuel spill was contained and cleaned up.

Police say the investigation into what caused the truck to lose control continues and would like to hear from any witnesses.
