A 31-year-old Markham man wanted in connection with a sexual assault from back in 2015 has turned himself in to police.
In early 2015, a woman told Toronto police she was sexually assaulted at her home near Bayview and Finch avenues in North York.
Police were able to identify a suspect in the investigation but said that he may have been avoiding police.
Investigators recently appealed to the public for help locating him.
On Monday at around 4:20 p.m., police say Kulathiban Nanthakumar surrendered to police.
Nanthakumar has been charged with sexual assault, gang sexual assault and overcoming resistance to the commission of an offence.
He made an appearance in court on Tuesday.
