A man is dead after a stabbing in the city's east end on Sunday morning.
Police were called just after 9:30 a.m. for "unknown trouble" at an apartment building at 17 Edgewood Avenue, in the Kingston Road and Dundas Street East area.
Toronto police Staff Sgt. Bob Skinner told CTV.ca that the victim was stabbed during an argument in a fourth-floor hallway.
He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital, where he died around 10:30 a.m.
Skinner said the victim and suspects "were all known to each other."
Police have not yet released the victim's name and age and no arrests have been made.
This is the city's 40th homicide this year.
