CTV’s Karlene Nation was honoured Tuesday night by the Black Business and Professional Association, winning a Women of Honour award.
The awards mark the accomplishments of women who have helped others in their communities.
“The BBPA believes that the woman in our communities who have done exceedingly well to advance themselves and who stand as a beacon of hope for other women should be celebrated,” the association says on its website.
The event was held at the Toronto Region Board of Trade’s City Ballroom in First Canadian Place.
