PICTON, Ont. - A preliminary hearing begins in Picton, Ont., today for a 19-year-old Belleville man accused in a triple shooting.
Dean Brown has been in custody since the spring.
Brown is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 46-year-old Tracy Hannah and her daughter, 14-year-old Whitney Hannah.
The victims were found shot to death in their home in Mountainview, south of Belleville, on March 12.
Brown is also charged with the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Shannon Hannah.
The hearing is expected to last several days.
