HAMILTON, Ont. - Hamilton police have filed more charges against a minor hockey coach accused of sex-related and child pornography offences.

Richard McKinnon, 46, was arrested last month and charged with several offences after police searched a residence.

The alleged incidents span 2001 and 2006, while the accused was a coach for the Mount Hamilton Minor Hockey Association.

The hockey association has banned him from coaching during the court process.

Police say their investigation led to additional charges against McKinnon and he was released on bail, with conditions, on Thursday.

The new charges include production and possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation, sexual assault and voyeurism.
