Following the aftermath of a historic sexual assault investigation that spanned three decades, Toronto police have laid further charges.

The investigation began Sep. 20, 2014 after police reported that they believed two men had been sexually assaulting victims over a 30-year period in Ontario from the mid-1960s to the mid-1990s.

Police allege that during that time the age of the victims ranged from five to 30 years old.

In a Sept. 2014 news release police said that the men were well known in the Toronto area but they spent their winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The report went on to say that the suspects were Mexican citizens.

It is also believed that one of the men worked as a department head at Sheridan College in Oakville in the 1980s.

James Brian Wickens, 68, of Toronto was arrested and charged with:

  • Indecent Assault on Male x4 (charges laid in Sept. 2014)
