OSHAWA, Ont. - Investigators are hoping the public can help them identify a man wanted in a sexual assault in Oshawa, Ont., in May.

Durham region police say a 38-year-old sex trade worker was picked up by a man in a car in Oshawa.

The victim was driven to a deserted area, where police say she was sexually assaulted.

Following the sexual assault, the man drove the woman to an Oshawa hotel where she reported the assault.

Police say the assailant is described as a white man in his 50s, with short grey-brown hair and a heavy build.
