TORONTO - Pro football's all-time leading passer is returning for another season with the Toronto Argonauts.

The CFL team announced today that free agent quarterback Damon Allen has re-signed with the club.

The 43-year-old Allen has won four Grey Cups over his 22-year career.

He completed 198 of 335 passes last season (59.1 per cent) for 2,567 yards with 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Allen, who holds several CFL passing records, was the league's outstanding player in 2005.

Toronto recently signed former NFL quarterbacks Tom Arth and Mike McMahon. The Argos also have quarterback Eric Crouch under contract and veteran pivot Michael Bishop is also expected to return.
