Rain showers are in the forecast for Monday and a thunderstorm is also possible sometime in the afternoon.
There is a 40 per cent chance of showers with the risk of thunderstorms increasing later in the day.
Following a cool start to the day with a high of 17 C, the temperature is expected to rise to a high of 24 C midday.
According to Environment Canada, the rain is likely to continue into Tuesday.
But the city will finally get a break from the damp weather on Wednesday and Thursday.
Dry conditions and partly cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday with a high of 18 C. Thursday has sunnier skies in the forecast with a high of 19 C.
The rainy weather may creep back up again on Friday, as Environment Canada predicts a 30 per cent chance of showers.
Looking to the weekend, Saturday and Sunday both have warm temperatures and sunny skies in the current forecast.
