Police are searching for a driver who allegedly struck several vehicles in North York and then ran away from the scene.

The incident happened on Thursday near Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue West.

Toronto police said they were called to that area just before 2 p.m.

Investigators have not provided a description of the suspect at this point.

No injuries have been reported.

Eastbound Lawrence was closed at Black Creek as police investigated, but has since re-opened.
