Two men have been charged following the death of a man in Mississauga on Saturday.

Police said Mohammad Haniff, 29, was driving at high speed in the area of Kestrel Road and Meyerside Drive in Mississauga on Saturday evening.

At approximately 6:20 p.m., Haniff's 2004 Honda Accord lost control and collided with a second vehicle, police said.

A witness told police that the driver of the second vehicle, a Toyota Camry, accelerated away from the scene without attempting to assist Haniff.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 24-year-old man has also been charged in connection to the death. The victim's brother has been charged with criminal negligence causing death, public mischief and obstructing a police investigation.

The victim's brother is a co-worker of the Toyota driver.
