HAMILTON, Ont. -- Police in Hamilton say a 13-year-old boy is facing charges after rocks were thrown onto cars from a highway overpass.

Police say they received several calls Wednesday afternoon from people who reported seeing a boy dropping large rocks onto to the Red Hill Valley Parkway (at Barton Street East).

Investigators say one motorist had his sunroof smashed as a result of a rock striking his vehicle.

Officers say a boy matching the description was located and is charged with mischief endangering life.
