Environment Canada has ended all tornado warnings in the province including those for Barrie, Collingwood and Orillia.

Previously, the City of Toronto and majority of the GTA were placed under tornado warnings, but those were also lifted.

The tornado warning was first issued early Saturday afternoon and gradually moved eastward from Toronto and York Region into Durham and then continued into Pickering and Oshawa.

Portions of the GTA and central Ontario are under a severe thunderstorm watch.
