Peel police have charged four people after two young men were stabbed in Mississauga Monday night.
It happened outside a movie theatre at Confederation Parkway and Rathburn Road West shortly before 6 p.m. after a fight broke out between two groups, Peel police said.
Police say two men from Oakville, aged 18 and 20, were stabbed. One of them was stabbed in the upper torso and was rushed to hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The other man was stabbed in the head, but sustained only minor injuries. He was treated and released from hospital.
Police said four young men from Mississauga were arrested separately following the incident.
Amandepp Singh Jodha, 20, Sukhdeep Jodha, 19, Manjot Chadde, 19, and Gurvir Deol, 18, have all been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
They were scheduled to make a court appearance Tuesday.
