Police are searching for two people after a jewelry store robbery in Ajax last year.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) say shortly after 1 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2024, two men entered VP Jewellery store on Harwood Avenue North, near Taunton Road West. Then then allegedly tied up an employee and stole a quantity of jewelry, before running away from the area.

The employee suffered minor injuries, according to police.

Investigators are looking for two male suspects they describe as white and between 30 to 40 years old.

One is described as about six-foot-one with a heavy build, while the other is described as five-foot-nine with a slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DRPS or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
