Steeles closed in both directions at Mavis in Brampton following collision

A section of Steeles Avenue in Brampton is closed in both directions following a single-vehicle collision.

The crash happened on Sunday just after 2 p.m., near Steeles Avenue West and Mavis Road, Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.

They said that the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with "minimal injuries."

Steeles Avenue is currently off limits from Mavis Road and Tait Boulevard as police investigate.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
