One man is dead following a drive-by shooting in Toronto’s entertainment district.
Emergency crews were called to the King Street and Peter Street area around 4:15 p.m., after witnesses reported hearing multiple shots being fired.
Police say initial reports suggest a car pulled up beside another car and multiple shots were fired.
The victim, in his 20s, was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released details on possible suspects.
Peter Street is currently closed between King Street and Adelaide Street as police investigate.
