A woman found dead in a Brampton home has been identified as 58-year-old Kathryn Horne.

Horne, of Toronto, was found dead in a home on Nanwood Drive shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, police said.

Richard Pereira, 36, of Brampton, has been charged with second-degree murder.

In a statement, Horne's employer Ernst and Young said she was a "valued and long-standing member" of the team.
