A 41-year-old woman is dead after a domestic dispute in Mississauga on Saturday evening.
Police responded to calls about a disturbance on Southfork Drive, in the area of Terry Fox Way and Bristol Road West, at approximately 5:45 p.m.
The victim, identified by police as Vaishali Patel, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she later died.
Police say the woman’s 20-year-old son, Kunal Bhavan, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Bhavan is set to appear in court on Sunday.
