An 83-year-old woman who fell into a swimming pool in Scarborough has died.
Police say the woman, who has not been identified, used a walker. She fell into a pool, located in the area of McCowan Road and Lawrence Avenue East, shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to Toronto Paramedic Services, the woman's husband was unable to enter the pool to save her. She was eventually pulled out of the water by one of the paramedics and rushed to hospital.
Police say she died of her injuries Wednesday night.
