40 Years of Hip-Hop: Exhibition for CONTACT Photography Festival

From breakdancing and graffiti art to the emergence of rap, come out and celebrate 40 years of hip- hop history. Toronto will be celebrating this milestone with some of Hip Hop's key photographers for Scotiabank's CONTACT Photography festival.

Greek Film and Foto Week

This exhibition takes a look at Greek identity and how it has been affected by the nation’s recent political and economic crisis. The exhibition will include 18 artists and two perspectives; works by emerging and established photographers of the Greek diaspora - photographers of Greek descent who live and work in North America. These photographers present a close but “external” perspective of national pride and Greek identity. The second perspective will feature work by photographers living in Greece, and present an “internal” perspective. The evening will include food and wine.

Art of the Danforth
