Police say three men are facing weapons charges after a stabbing outside a nightclub in Vaughan that sent two men to hospital.

York Regional police said they were called to On the Rox, located near Steeles Avenue and Dufferin Street, around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday because of a fight involving weapons.

They found two men, both security guards, with non-life threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital.

Police say they stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of the club and arrested three men for possession of a handgun. Police have not determined whether those men were involved in the stabbing.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
