ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Two men face murder charges in the death of a fellow inmate at the Niagara Detention Centre in Thorold, Ont.

Police say 46-year-old Kelvin Sawa, of Port Colborne, Ont., was taken to hospital Aug. 15 with life-threatening injuries.

He died three days later.

Details have not been released.

Police say second-degree murder charges have been laid against two men who were prisoners in the jail at the time.

Jeremy Hall, 37, and Cale Rose, 28, were arrested today and will appear in court in St. Catharines, Ont.
