Toronto Hydro has restored power to all homes affected by a line of severe thunderstorms that swept through the city on Friday night.

About 200 customers in the Sheppard and Meadowvale Avenues had lost electricity on Friday, according to a tweet from the utility. Power was restored to all customers a little after 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Toronto that was lifted shortly before 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, homes in Orillia were damaged and one man was critically injured due to severe weather overnight.
