Toronto police are searching for an 18-year-old man in connection with the shooting of a 17-year-old male early Sunday morning.
It happened outside an address on Woolner Avenue near Jane Street at around 12:45 a.m.
According to police, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach and then ran to a nearby apartment building to get assistance.
He was later taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect, identified by police as Jevaun Anthony Beharie, 18, is wanted for attempted murder and discharging a firearm endangering life in connection with the shooting.
Police consider Beharie armed and dangerous.
