Police have released security camera images of a suspect wanted in connection with an apparent unprovoked stabbing downtown.
According to investigators, a group of people were standing near Yonge and Breadalbane streets on Nov. 18 shortly before 1:30 a.m. when a man approached them and initiated a conversation.
At some point, the man unexpectedly stabbed another man in the group with a knife.
The suspect initially fled the area but later returned and allegedly stabbed a second man from the same group.
Police describe the suspect as a black man who is between 20 and 30 years-old with a thin build and three lines shaved into one of his eyebrows.
They consider the man armed and dangerous and urge anyone who spots him to call 9-1-1 immediately.
In a news release issued Friday, Toronto police provided security camera images of a suspect.
