A spectacular weather finale is expected to cap off the long weekend in the GTA, with sunshine, clear skies and warm weather.

A high of 25 C is expected in Toronto this Victoria Day. The warmest day forecast in some time for the city, it follows two days of increasingly warm weather over the long weekend.

The warm, clear weather should make for perfect viewing conditions at Ashbridges Bay tonight, where thousands of people are expected to attend a large fireworks display to mark Victoria Day.  

City parks, golf courses and many outdoor tourist attractions are also open for people to enjoy today.

While the long weekend will be over tomorrow, the warm weather is set to continue. Sunny skies and a high of 27 C is forecast for the city on Tuesday, followed by a high of 29 C Wednesday. The temperature is expected to dip to a high of 21 C is on Thursday with a chance of showers, but then rise again to a high of 26 C on Friday.
