There will be numerous road closures Saturday along the city's lakeshore as the annual Caribbean Carnival grand parade takes place.
The closures began at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday and will not be lifted until 6 a.m. Sunday.
Here is a full list:
- The westbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard are closed from Strachan Avenue to Parkside Drive
- The eastbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard are closed from Colborne Lodge Drive to Strachan Avenue
- Dufferin Street is closed in both directions south of Springhurst Avenue
- The exit from the eastbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway to Jameson Avenue
- The on ramps from Jameson Avenue and British Columbia Road to the eastbound Gardiner Expressway
- The exit from the westbound Gardiner Expressway to Dunn Avenue
In addition to the full road closures, there will also be restricted access on a number of roads during the parade.
The roads with restricted access are:
- Dufferin Street south of King Street West
- Dowling Avenue south of King Street West
- Stadium Road south of Lake Shore Boulevard West
- Queen's Quay West, west of Bathurst Street
- Springhurst Avenue west of Jameson Avenue
- Springhurst Avenue east of Jameson Avenue
