Toronto police are investigating a possible arson spree after seven garbage bin fires were lit in the west end overnight.

Six of the fires were set between 2:45 a.m. and 3:45 a.m., in garbage bins in the Roncesvalles Avenue and Dundas Street area. The seventh was set in a trash can near Jane and Bloor Streets.

The fires were extinguished quickly and no one was injured, but Toronto police believe the incidents may have been set by the same people.

Police are asking everyone living in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage for signs of suspicious behaviour.
