Toronto police have released video and photos in connection with a violent street robbery, hoping someone can identify the suspect.

The robbery occurred on Sunday, Feb. 21, at approximately 3 p.m., in the area of Harbord and Bathurst Streets.

Police said a 27-year-old woman was approached by a man, who confronted her without provocation.

The man then punched the woman in the head and took her bag and wallet, police said in a statement Thursday.

More than two weeks after the incident, police released video, photos and a description of the suspect.

The man has been described as white and between the ages of 35 and 45. He is approximately 6-feet-tall with dark hair and a beard. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a tan cap, blue-and-white bandana, black jacket, black pants and black boots.

He was riding a mountain bike.
