A tie believed to be the one Rob Ford wore during his infamous crack confession has sold online for nearly $1,500.
The tie, posted on the city councillor's eBay page, was initially put on the online auction block in February. The winning bid was more than $16,000.
Months later, the former Toronto mayor posted the tie on his eBay page again, saying the first deal didn't go through.
In a tweet, Ford said Sunday that he had reposted some items after "unfortunate fraudulent bidding."
The NFL logo tie was worn by Ford when he confessed to smoking crack cocaine at a news conference in November 2013.
According to the eBay page, 30 people made bids on the tie before bidding closed Tuesday morning. The winning bid was $1,445.
