Events closures

The annual Cavalcade of Lights means Bay Street will be closed on Saturday, between Dundas and Queen Streets from 4 to 11 p.m.

During the fireworks, Hagerman Street will be closed between Elizabeth and Bay Streets, and Elizabeth will be closed from Dundas to Hagerman.

Albert Street will be closed between Bay and James Streets, and James will be closed from Albert to Queen.

The northbound lanes of Yonge Street will be closed on Saturday between Gibson Avenue and Summerhill Avenue on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Rosedale Main Street BIA Festival. The southbound lanes will be converted to one lane of northbound traffic and one lane of southbound.

Lake Shore Boulevard closures

The westbound passing lane will be occupied from Rees Street to Van De Water Crescent by tunnel construction from 9 a.m. to midnight every day until the end of February 2015.

The westbound right lane will be occupied at Parliament Street until Nov. 30 for rehabilitation of the overpass.

Major road closures

The TTC and the City of Toronto have started long-term track, water main and road work on Bathurst Street at Dundas Street West. Full details of the closure are available online.

The intersection of Bay and Richmond Streets will be partially closed from 7 p.m. on Friday until 4 a.m. on Monday for an ongoing construction project. During the closure, one lane of Richmond Street will stay open, and one lane in each direction will stay open on Bay.

Don Valley Parkway closures

On Saturday only, the York Mills Road on-ramp will be blocked from midnight to 6 a.m. for the removal of a sign board.

Gardiner Expressway closures

The centre left lane and centre right lane of the Gardiner Expressway will be occupied at Park Lawn Road from 11 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Saturday.
