In addition to the Pan Am Games lane restrictions, a series of events and construction projects will close Toronto roadways to traffic.

Events closures

Bloor Street will be closed between Parliament Street and Broadview Avenue from 8 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Sunday for the Pan Am Torch Relay community celebration. Access to Castle Frank Road will not be available from the Don Valley Parkway and the Bayview extension ramps from 4 p.m. on Saturday to 5 a.m. on Sunday.

St. Clair Avenue will be blocked from Winona Drive to Christie Street from Saturday at 8 a.m. to Sunday at 11 p.m. for the Salsa on St. Clair event.

On Sunday, Yonge Street will be closed between Dundas and Queen Streets from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for a Youth Day event.

Lawrence Avenue will be closed to traffic between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road from Friday at 10 a.m. to Monday at 2 a.m. for the Taste of Lawrence.

On Saturday, the Caribana Flags and Colours Festival Parade will result in rolling road closures on Shoreham Drive, Jane Street and York Gate Boulevard, between noon and 5 p.m.

And a reminder: Some major roadways have HOV lanes in place for the duration of the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. Here's what you need to know.

Gardiner Expressway closures

The westbound Gardiner off-ramp to Lower Sherbourne Street will be occupied until April 2016 due to road reconstruction.

TTC closures and diversions

Subway service will start late on Sunday between St. George and Pape Stations. There will be no service between the stations until noon. Replacement buses will stop on the street at all stations until the trains begin to run.

There will be no Scarborough RT service on Saturday or Sunday. Replacement buses will run between Kennedy and McCowan Stations, and full service will resume Monday morning.

Due to the Taste of Lawrence, the 54 and 354 Lawrence buses will be diverting around the area from Friday to Sunday.

The 312 and 512 St. Clair routes will be diverting between Ossington Avenue and Christie Street on Saturday and Sunday due to Salsa on St. Clair.
