Police are looking for two suspects after a 23-year-old man died following an overnight stabbing in Toronto’s west end.

Officers were called to Noble Park on Sandcliff Road, in the Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue West area, at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Sunday.

Paramedics said the victim, identified as Russell Sahadeo, was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, but succumbed to his injures early Sunday morning.

A group of people in their 20s were gathered at Noble Park at the time of the stabbing, police said in a statement. Sahadeo was involved in an altercation with two other men, one of whom stabbed the 23-year-old. Police said both men fled in a car.

Investigators said the Sahadeo was co-operating before he died and the suspects may be known to police. No suspect information has yet been released.

Anyone with any information about the stabbing is asked to call police at 4166-808-1200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
