Toronto police have released security camera images of a man wanted after a woman was allegedly followed home from a restaurant in Weston and sexually assaulted.

On May 13 at around 2 a.m., police said a woman was in a restaurant near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West.

A short time later, police said the woman left the restaurant when a man – who was also in the restaurant at the time – followed her to a nearby apartment building.

As the woman went to enter her apartment unit, police allege the man forced his way inside and sexually assaulted her.

Police said suspect fled the area on foot and was last seen walking on Weston Road

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s with long dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with black sleeves and the number ‘72’ on the front of the shirt.
