Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted in the city’s east end Tuesday morning.
The woman was walking alone in an area bounded by Gerrard, Bay, Dundas and Jarvis streets at around 9 a.m. when she was pushed into an alcove by a male suspect.
According to police, the suspect then sexually assaulted the woman.
After a struggle, the woman then broke free and ran away.
The suspect is described as 50 to 60 years old, white, about six-feet-tall, 185-190 lbs. with a shaved head with a couple days growth, patchy facial hair, light coloured eyes, a noticeably furrowed brow, leathery skin, a big stomach and skinny legs.
The man was last seen wearing khaki shorts, a navy blue or black T-shirt and black flip flops.
