TOTTENHAM, Ont. - Provincial police say a dog was snatched from a yard while its owner sat on the porch of a home in Tottenham, about 40 kilometres north of Brampton.
Police say the owner of the dog was sitting on her front porch with her two Chihuahuas on Wednesday morning when a black SUV pulled into the driveway.
A man in the front passenger seat opened the door, reached out and grabbed one of the dogs.
The vehicle sped away south on Tottenham Road with the white short-haired dog named "Sophie."
Police want to hear from anyone with information.
