Police are looking for a male suspect after a woman was found with stab wounds in downtown Toronto Friday afternoon.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was found by EMS in the Yonge Street and Gerrard Street East area at approximately 1:30 p.m. She suffered multiple lacerations and stab wounds, and was rushed to hospital.

Police say the stabbing may have taken place at another location.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 50s who is approximately 6'3 tall. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and brown hoodie.
