A small plane skidded off a runway at Pearson International Airport and crashed into a ditch on Friday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police confirmed that one of the plane's landing gear collapsed, causing the plane to crash.
The plane was returning from a Canadian National Exhibition airshow practice flight when it crashed.
A representative from the Canadian International Airshow said that there was a minor injury, but both pilots who were in the plane are alright.
"The airshow aircraft was involved in a minor incident…Both pilots are fine and out of the aircraft," Colleen Swider said.
The damage to the aircraft is being assessed, and there will be no disruptions to service at Pearson as a result of the crash.
