OSHAWA, Ont. - A man from Oshawa, Ont., has been charged after a collision involving a Durham Regional Transit bus.

Police allege that the minivan went through a stop sign and collided with the bus in an intersection last Thursday in Oshawa.

The bus then drove onto the boulevard and struck a utility pole and two parked cars before coming to a stop.

A 32-year-old man is charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through highway.

Police say the driver of the bus and the driver of the minivan were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

None of the seven passengers on the bus reported injuries.
