A Toronto tutor is facing charges in connection with a sexual assault investigation dating back to 2008.
The charges stem from a report filed in 2008, when a then 13-year-old girl said she was sexually assaulted by her math tutor.
The girl attended lessons at a private residence in the area of Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue. Police allege she was assaulted by her tutor between June and September of 2008.
As a result of an investigation, 41-year-old Ryan McCombe was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference, officers said in a statement Friday.
Police believe there may be more victims.
